Perl is a loosely typed, semi object oriented programming language created by Larry Wall.
Like its motto says, there is more than one way to do anything in it.
Perl is a very convenient language for handling files and
manipulating data.
Perl has a wide range of modules on its CPAN network
that you can base your programs on.
Here, we have written all our daemonstrations
in Perl.
